This blog relates some of the experiences of John and Gro Agersten in their lives as missionaries for the gospel of Christ.
John and Gro met in the Salem Church in Oslo. Both felt a call to the mission fields of South America. After they were married, they transplanted their young family to Peru to begin sharing the gospel in 1966, and continued until 1999. After that time, doors opened for them to serve in Cuba (3 years) and Spain (3 years). The accounts shared here are the reflections of lives invested in sharing and building the Kingdom of God.
The recollections in this blog are translated by Maino Agersten Graham, their daughter, who lives in the United States. The entries are translated from John and Gro’s Norwegian blog so that their English speaking family and friends can also enjoy their stories, and witness God’s faithfulness in their lives.
