It was with great excitement that we boarded the cargo ship "M / S Margrethe Bakke" on our way to Peru one November day in 1966. Since that first one, there has been many trips back and forth between Peru and Norway until we left the Peru mission field in July 1999. But it was not to be our the last time in Peru! John has been able to make 6 visits to Peru after 1999, while Gro has been able to go 3 more times.
